After a decade of debate on the posible involvment of EBV (Epstein-Barr virus) in MS disease (Multiple sclerosis; chronic inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system), in large scale study it was shown that indeed EBV is the leading cause of MS. This may help to find mechanistic approaches to possibly prevent/cure MS.
